No, never. Your guests receive a personal link that acts as their key: it opens in the browser, on a phone as well as on a computer.

Yes. You compose your invitation freely as a draft — design, colourway, texts, programme — and try it out with a trial link, exactly as a guest would see it. Payment only happens when you activate, once everything pleases you.

Yes. In the editor, a writing assistant suggests, rephrases and completes your texts based on what you tell it about your event — you review everything and always keep the final say. It never sees your guest list or your guests' replies.

Yes. Invite a best friend or a relative by email, with the role that suits them: view, edit the invitation and the guest list, or also manage the other collaborators. Payment and deleting the event stay in your hands.

An option at €9: instead of the design's envelope, your guests watch a real paper envelope open, filmed, with your initials stamped into the wax seal. You choose the wax (burgundy, emerald or midnight blue) and the paper (ivory embossed with flowers, or plain); our studio prepares it in at least one working day, in a phone and a computer version. Until then, your guests see the same envelope with a plain seal. One retouch is included.

Each invitation has its own link: you share it however you like — WhatsApp, text message, in person via a QR code. Cachet can also send it for you, in each guest's language: by email, included in the price, or by SMS as an add-on (100 messages, to Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Switzerland). And if you would rather not name anyone in advance, a single link can be shared with everyone: each person adds themselves to your guest list by replying.

Yes, if you wish: one invitation can bring several people together — “Famille El Fassi”, “Camille and Jonas”… They share the same link, and each of them can reply for themselves — handy for a couple or a family with different diaries.

Attendance day by day (if your event has several), the number of plus-ones, menu choices, diets and allergies, and a little note for you. You follow the replies live and export them to Excel; they only reach you — never the other guests.

Yes, at any time, from the same link: their reply is shown and can be edited. You always see the latest version.

Yes, at any time: times, address, programme. The link stays the same, and every guest always sees the latest version. No message goes out with each edit: if an important change deserves an announcement, let your guests know.

Yes, in a single step, by email — or by SMS with the add-on. Only guests who have already received their invitation and have not yet replied are reminded: three times at most, at least four days apart. An invitation that keeps insisting does the celebration it announces no favours.

From activation, from an Excel or CSV file (up to 500 rows per file): you check the preview line by line before the invitations are created. You can also create them one by one from your space.

It is prepared in your space, alongside your appointments, suppliers and tasks. You seat your guests — a family stays together — and the headcount follows their replies; for those who haven't replied yet, you estimate it. The plan can be printed and exported to Excel.

The invitation exists in nine languages: French, English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Turkish and Arabic — read right to left. Each guest has their own language: their link, the invitation and the messages all respect it. Your own texts (welcome note, programme…) are translated from the editor, with the help of AI. Three languages are included; each extra language costs €9, up to nine, at activation or later.

Up to 25 photos (10 while the invitation is still a draft). Every photo is optimised on upload (WebP format) — your guests never download heavy files.

With this add-on, your guests upload their photos from their invitation, from the day of the celebration until seven days after — up to 30 photos per invitation, and 1,000 in total. On the morning of the big day, an email invites the expected guests to share their memories. You see everything, remove whatever you want, and download the whole set as one archive.

With the voice messages add-on, your guests can leave you a recorded message right from the invitation, one per invitation link and up to one minute long — a voice says more than a written note. A new recording replaces the previous one. The gallery and voice messages can also be taken together, at a reduced price. These messages are meant for you alone.

One price per event, no subscription: La Lettre, at €59 incl. VAT, includes all of Cachet — one design with all its colourways, 100 invitations, three languages, import of your list, a 25-photo gallery and sending invitations by email. Beyond that, each extra block of 100 invitations costs €25 (up to 1,000) and each extra language €9 (up to nine). The options — SMS sending, big-day gallery, voice messages, custom address, made-to-measure filmed envelope — are added à la carte.

Yes, at any time from your space. You increase the number of invitations or languages and pay only the difference with what you have already bought; an add-on you already own is never charged twice.

By card or any other payment method offered on screen, via Stripe — your payment details never pass through our servers. The invoice, with your country's VAT, is sent to you by email and remains available in your account. Online sales are not yet open in the United Kingdom.

The invitation is supplied immediately after payment: by activating, you request this immediate supply and expressly waive the withdrawal period, as set out in our terms of sale.

In the European Union: the service, its database and its backups are hosted by Microsoft Azure in France, and your guests' data never leaves it. Only the writing assistant and translation, when you call on them, entrust the invitation's texts — never the guest list or the replies — to our artificial intelligence provider in the United States, under standard contractual clauses. Photos uploaded by your guests are stripped of their technical metadata (including geolocation) upon receipt.

You, and the collaborators you invite yourself. A guest only sees what was sent from their own invitation; whatever they write or share goes to you only, never to the rest of the guest list.

For at least twelve months after the big day, with no extra cost and no subscription. Your guests' replies, photos and messages also stay for twelve months after the event — time enough to download everything.

Your guests' replies, photos and messages are erased automatically twelve months after the event — or as soon as you ask. A draft that was never activated and has been left unchanged for six months triggers a warning email; if it is not edited within thirty days, it is deleted.

Everything goes with it, immediately and permanently: invitations, replies, photos and messages. Only the invoices are kept, as the law requires.
